Matt _Aero top_
Hi folks Just a general question to you members who have the whifbitz cat back system fitted to there supras . On the backbox what type of rubber do you use on the hanger ? I feel mine may look a tad low , not sure whether I can get a smaller rubber dounut type thing or if it's just streched slightly over the years . Thanks Matt Edited March 21, 2011 by Matt _Aero top_ (see edit history)

Josh
Ask Paul as I'm sure he'd know the best way to attach the backbox to the hanger.
marcAB10
Maybe use 2 rubber hangers as it will stretch them less and not hang as low, that's if you have enough room for 2, I'm not sure on that exhaust myself.
caseys
I've used two rubber hangers but find after a little while they start perishing - maybe it's the angle my downpipe is at though as I'm no longer TT. I have a 3.5" system and find I'm probably changing the rubbers every 9 months - Don't know if it's the angle or the weight to be honest. I've tried various shapes/sizes of exhaust rubbers but all in the end stretch and perish I have found. I was looking at cutting a bit more of one of the hangers off so I could get a better angle and get a poly ring put on, but maybe I'll just try and wait it out until I've changed the downpipe and manifold then just get the exhaust tweaked for a better alignment.
