Guest 207
I have read most clutch rattle post and they don't seem to match my problem. I took the car to the drag strip today and being on drag radials I experimented with burnouts at various rpms and gears. All was good until I burnt out in third, btw I have a 6 spd TT, at the end of the burnout the clutches rattled loudly when I slowly engage it and in every gear. It normally rattles when I try to ease up a hill or reverse during parking, but never this hard and only in low gear. Once the clutch pedal is fully release, no more rattle, and no rattle at idle. Not sure what clutch I have in it but I'm sure I kept the factory flywheel. I'm thinking throw out bearing but need help. What could this be? Also I'm hoping by now there is a clutch/ flywheel setup to hold over 500hp and does not rattle..if there is please let me know where to purchase it. bignum
Does it rattle when switching the engine off in nuetral, sounds like worn dual mass flywheel. Centreforce dual friction with new stock flywheel is a good combo, feels like stock and is quite, centreforce is in the usa.

Does not rattle in neutral anytime, only when I start to ease off the clutch. I checked and I only changed the clutch, it is still the factory flywheel. Tyson
Btw..this is a UK Supra imported brand new in 1995. It only has 35000 miles. you will get no help ... until you have shown us many pictures think of it as an upfront payment !! You have stolen nigels crown of lowest mileage uk spec supra. That pretty low miles, what colour is it? I am hopefully going to make a register of all the uk specs that are still alive, it doesn't contain any sensitive info that would cause you bother, only things like colour, transmission, date of reg and mileage. Need the the go ahead though from the all powerful mod team Btw they only made 628 UK models and there will be less than that now as some have been written off. No problem...It was purchase by Mr. Bacardi in 1995 and shipped here but he never drove it. I will be glad to send photos in the morning. It real needs a good home but the shipping will be at least $3000 to go back to the UK
