People throwing stuff out of there car!!

Today, me, the other half and little one went out for a drive! We had a lovely afternoon, decided to go to RAF lakenheath and see if we could see and jets take off ( afraid not :().

All was good, but coming home, back on the a11, a Mitsubishi warrior was in front of me, suddenly his passenger decides to throw an empty can out of there window ( which luckily didn't hit the car), then a few minutes later, the drivers decides to throw his can out of the window!

This time I run over it doing 60mph! My first thought was "F**k, I hope it hasn't damaged the tyre!".

At this point I'm fuming! Not only have I got my other half in the car but also my little girl also! So i had my other half quickly get the warriors reg and I left the motorway to check my tyre, due to it being fairly dark I couldn't see much but looks ok.

Some peoples lack of respect to other peoples welfare is appalling sometimes, that can couldve quite easily ripped through my tyre at that speed and caused a blow out/ crash!

I'm checking the tyre first thing tomorrow and if it's damage I'm going to report them to the police!

Anyone else had this before?

It just put a really bad ending to a nice afternoon/evening:(

We didn't even get to see any jets! :(

Tell the police anyway. Call your local station and say they were driving dangerously by undertaking and weaving about in the lane and just driving erratically and that they threw the can out of the van. Might get them busted somehow.

Just been to the local KFC and seen three full bags of rubbish just left in the middle of the car park. There are bins 20 feet away? WTF?

H.

I saw 2 kids in 2 cars eating kfc and chatting. When thy finished they dumped it out between them but stayed where they were. A guy accross the carpark got out of his 4x4 walked over and lobbed it back in one of the cars through the window. :). After a few mins they drove off... And just dumped it infront of the guys car a few metres from a bin. Scum

Never had anyone do it to me, but i have to admit, the first time i took my mate out in the supra, we were coming of the dual carriage way, windows were down and he just tossed a plastic bottle out the window, i was also really annoyed, i wouldnt do something like that...becuase i wouldnt want someone to do it to me. I told him how i felt:Pling:so hopefully thats one less rubbish window tipping plonker about for fellow drivers...

I'd have stopped the car and made him pick it up..!!

Police won't be able to do anything due to lack of evidence, you know how it is Rob.

Though would be worth reporting it in the hope they have a stern word with them.

I find in the UK we only have this issue, when I was in Doha, I couldn't believe how clean everything was! Other countries which I have worked in I noticed exactly the same thing. People really care about living rubbish outside or just dumping it, most (not all) people in the UK don't.

One of my pet hates this too.

Also the way people think its ok to throw fag ends out of the car.

I followed a 4x4 of sorts approaching a roundabout last year and saw a front passenger window open and the 12/13 year old kid throw out his used Mcdonnals containers on to the carriageway. This included multiple used chip, burger and drinks containers leaving a real mess on the road. I went on the horn and shouted over to the fat spotty mother driver to teach her son some sense. She replied in the usual british fashion these days of "f-you, who are you to tell me how to raise my son, f-off and you go pick up the rubbish you f-ing this f-ing that"...I shouted back that I'm about to take your reg number and report you to the police, in which she then bolted off jumping a red light and narrowly missing an HGV, which I'm sure with the twin air-horns of the HGV that went off must have made her shhyte her pants a bit. (Much to my amusement I must add).

But anyway I did phone the police with the reg number but heard nothing more about it.

(No doubt if the police had contacted her she would have probably blamed myself for throwing out the rubbish).

The problem is that many people don't say anything, they just sit behind the wheel of their car and mutter this or that to themselves in disgust and then go on with their lives accepting that "just a sign of the times etc". I've past this stage and usually voice out these days.

Yes, lying is exactly the thing to do. Have a word.
