I booked my car for a new decat 3" exhasut to be fitted.

Its a Eur spec TT 94 model, Will I have a problem with boost cut??

I dont have a BCC.

What boost can I expect, and at what boost does the cut come on>?

Anybody?

Thanks

My supes got a straight through pipe all the way, No CATS, the first ones defo not there, there is however a box in the middle just before the rear muffler, dunno if this is a cat though???? Just bin out init, Strangly Im sure the Turbo whines got louder, then whilst giving it a bit of a blow out down the bypass, its was hitting 1.1 bar. Seems OK.

Anyone explain this fuel cut to me and also, is it normal for the gauge to shake between ranges say 1.0 & 0.8 when holding the throttle at a certain point when the turbs kicking in???

Sorry for being a thicko but this is all new territory to me. Cheers Guys:stupid:

I have a UK spec with full decat and Hiper and am running 0.91bar. I understand that stock boost is at 0.8bar and fuel cut is at 0.96bar however, I do have the VFCC from Pete installed which, has upped the cut threshold to 1.241bar.

I hope this helps.

Pete....

Anybody would think you're biased towards TRL products mate ! !

[ps. seriously, Kubus, even I managed to fit Pete's

VFCC myself - AND THAT REALLY IS SAYIN' SOMETHING ! !:p ]

[ pps. and it's worked fine so far = 165 / full throttle acceleration /

NO cats, J-spec' = NO boost-cut..... just on settings as it comes

from Pete  ]
