Westy
Can someone please confirm that the coolant expansion bottle between the front bumper and rad needs to be relocated to fit a radiator cooling panel. Was out today trying to fit the APR carbon one and the cap of this bottle prevents it from slotting into place!? I've seen the alloy expansion bottles that fit infront of the battery which is one option, but thought i'd cast it out there for any other solutions!? Thanks in advance. bobapple
Yes the APR one does need you to relocate the windscreen bottle. A gent on here makes nice polished replacement one that fits in front of your bat.
bobapple
Forgot to say also the bracket for the water bottle the thread that connects that to the car has to be cut off.
Westy
I knew about the alloy expansion tanks mate, I've pm'd the guy who makes them. But just wondered if there was any other options!? Also, does the original bottle need to be moved to fit a FMIC!?
bobapple
Yep . Also I think the active front spoiler needs to go or at Lear be constantly set to the down position. I also tried to think of different ways, but then I thought I'd rather have the expansion tank easily accessible, also even if you extended the bracket down, you would still need to move where it bolts to, as the thread is welded in place and needs to be cut off so the panel fits flush.
