neo2810
Chaps, let me just clarify. AAS are not 'an exhaust place'. They are a performance tuning centre who also specialise in exhaust work. They have 2 massive machining booths and perform total bespoke engine builds as well as a host of other stuff. Pro drivers travel hundreds of miles to bring their cars to these guys so they must be doing something right. They are not just shoving ITB's on and hoping for the best. They are adding a few other bespoke custom parts to the build along with the mods already on the car but they do all the work in-house thereby not forking out overinflated costs for someone else to build the parts. Let's see what they manage to achieve before we start with the know-it-all "it can't be done" posts.
Kirk
First off no one said it 'cant be done' as it already HAS been done but it took ALOT more than ITBS which to be fair mate you only mentioned along with a standalone ECU so people are going to be dubvious. If we knew what other parts were being added and what mods the car already has then we could probably paint a better picture of the project in hand but as ive said before it will NOT be cheap to do. Also i dont claim to be a know it all but i do know a thing or two about engine's so im not just saying things ive read on the internet you know. I don't disagree with you, and I wasn't being argumentative, just wanted to make sure I wasn't misrepresenting AAS. I did mention in the OP that there had been some work done to the engine itself (rebore, high tension pistons, I don't know what exactly) along with a tubular manifold and aftermarket ECU with a remap. We wont find out what other bits are to be added until after the job as I think they are working things out as they go. I'll let you know how things go since I'm redoing their website for them so I'll be in touch for a while.

No, I meant high tension, perfectly highlighting how little I personally know
neo2810
Is it a customers car ? A customer of AAS, yes. It's some pro racer, more than likely known by a few of the guys on here who race, hell, may even be someone on here!

Neil-NA
my ecu and injectors i have for sale would be ideal for somebody doing this to their na. Noz
Id love those pistons in my NA-T. 11.1:1 would need some serious water meth injection and a syvecs ECU that would be crewing the road up!
