hogmaw
WTF is wrong with everyone. Each and every one of my 5 work colleagues (both men and women) has some kind of food allergy or dietary requirement. Nobody eats bread or wheat products, half of em are veggy, they won't eat something that has 'nasty chemicals' etc etc. The list and the moaning goes on and on. Then they complain they're always hungry, and just when they go on about their 'healthy lifestyle' they pop out for a cigarette!! None of em is overweight yet they are all on diets. In this day and age people are living longer than ever, so they can't claim that unhealthy food is shortening their lifespan. I just don't get it. I eat anything and everything (in moderation!) cos that's what's my mum taught me, and I think I'm the healthiest out of the lot of em. Bunch of fannies. Rant over thank you. Josh
Vegetarians aren't right to start with. Sorry to all veggies on here but it's true
Scott
I'm basically the opposite of a veggie. I can't eat the things. My diet is probably considered as terrible by most but I can't help what I like and don't like. I enjoy a bit of fruit every now and again (apples, oranges, grapes, pears etc) but I can't touch tomatoes or anything that would be considered "rabbit" food. The only way I get vegetables past my lips is my Mums soup blended like baby food lol.
tbourner
The wife is a bit fussy, but I'm slowly getting her to eat some more normal stuff, she's started liking most of it now after I've cooked it properly and used good quality stuff rather than the crap her parents used to dish up! chrispot
just eat free range cows, pigs etc as they would have eaten all the veg you need for you
Attero
I'm thankful for not being fussy. I eat pretty much everything out there except for some very unpopular or love/hate foods such as marmite. I'm also very experimental. I am willing to try anything out there. My girlfriend says she likes everything too, but that is utter BS. She sticks to the basic foods and never wants to add special extras such as herbs, spices, etc. Makes my dinners very plain and boring when I'm with her. Purity14
Romans 14:2 "For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs." Herb eaters thus are weak, because God says so.
Konrad
With the quality and taste of most food I can really understand some people. They are on the constant diet because ready food (or fastfood) tastes absolutely horrible in most cases. Saying that, nothing stays on the way of home cooking and trying to embrace world foods
TTRickeh
I was so fussy when I was a kid I basically just ate chips for the first 12 years of my life. I'll eat almost everything now though (apart from mushrooms, yuk), but do try and stay away from stuff loaded with sweeteners, preservatives, etc. They do sound like a 'bunch of fannies'
Chris Wilson
We have friends with kids who we basically tell to leave at home if they come round for a meal, as their alleged dietary requirements are too much hassle. "Oh, he won't *TOUCH* cabbage, or sprouts, or peas, he *HATES* any sauce, little Sally has an allergy, little Polly has a special diet, it's easy to make though, you *DO* have calcified rock powder and Strangleweed, don't you?" All too much, when I was a kid I went three days with no food until I ate cabbage, which of course I *HATED* without so much as trying a forkful. Some adults are as bad, I wonder how they get to be such fat *astards, given what they won't eat. As for Veggies, Vegans, teetotallers and none smokers, hell what do they do for pleasure, have constant hand parties?

I can confirm your last statement; I dont drink, but i have been known to have hand parties in between smoking mint-teabags and meat enriched meals. If I was a vegitarian I would have to substitute my meat enriched meals for more hand time, and we all know how bad that is for your health. pedrosixfour
I went to Holland a few years ago now, to take a bit of a break from Ireland and try my hand at a bit of large scale construction. I was unable to buy ANY food of ANY description ANYWHERE for the first 4 days I was working as the little village I was posted in only opened from 9am to 6pm weekdays and I was gone from 5am to about 7pm. When saturday came around I had tears in my eyes as I walked into the shop, I have made an effort to eat most things since then. Hunger is a very good sauce. stevie_b
There seems to be some confusion between "don't like" and "allergic/intolerant". I know people who have Celiac disease (gluten intolerant): they'd like nothing more than to chow down on some normal bread etc, but if they do, their bodies will stop absorbing nutrients from food and they'll starve even though they eat. Fussy eaters should just man up. Some adults are as bad, I wonder how they get to be such fat *astards, given what they won't eat. Too many Big Macs usually. creative
I am fussy eater. I have no problem requesting what I want where ever I go, but I am happy to try things. I am not a huge mean fan but I like a steak every now and again but it has to be cremated! I dont really eat fish but love chicken. I have definately got better as I have got older but I have no issue with what I eat, its other people that have the issue.. the girlfriend on the other hand is allergic to shed loads of things and is a nightmare to cook for! Unfortunately she like food but cant eat alot due to chemicals and allergies. She recently had one of those allergy tests done at the doctors... only thing she didnt react to was water! lol sucks to be her!

RedM
I'm a vegan. Never hungry, never dieting, not allergic to anything. Just choose not to touch anything animal derived. Now, do I go for a run or have some crisps for breakfast?
