bodilx6
I'm thinking this seat: http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRQhu0O3kAyM6UHWZhq0RDVceWdU12SxdKuJk0DsB13zzjHPw_gAw&t=1 is the stock "upgrade" seat. I can buy it new from Recaro at a reasonable price but he rails are not available and will be very expensive to get mail. Can anyone confirm if the OEM seat (non-recaro) rails will be able to fit or easily modified? Alternativly I would be able to accept the seat being in a fixed position. If so,would a simple plate or so be easily made to bolt directly to the seat and car for a cheap, safe and low fit?
TTRickeh
That's not an OEM seat iirc the stock ones aren't actually Speed's, but they'll fit on the stock OEM Recaro rails. Stock rails wont fit, don't know if they can be modified. There was a thread recently by JamieP where he got side mounts made up for his Cobra seats and someone offered to make a batch of them, and it was said they could be modified for Recaro's but i'm not sure how the thread turned out. Might be worth seeing if anything came of it.
Ark
Get Bride rails from MVP - they bolt straight in, and arrive faster from the USA than the seats will arrive from Germany.
Jellybean
This thread will help, a guy here in Ireland said it can custom fabricate the rails for 200 euro a pair http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?228248-Anyone-used-KW-Auto-parts-Seat-rails&highlight=seat+rails
bodilx6
Thanks! But isn't it possible just to bolt them directly to the buttom of the car with some plates with drilled holes? Noone but me drives the car, keeping the stock seats in case of sale (not likely), or am I missing something?
bodilx6
Aah.. I think I'm not thinking about the seat belt. Doh!.... Bride looks like a good idea...

They wont align up to the holes, the rail acts like an adapter, plus for safety I recommend having a quality rail. in an accident it will take a lot of the impact
Geo
Only ones that will bolt straight on are the Bride MO or RO type RAILS from MVP. The MO sit a little lower than stock, its what i've got in mine.

Over here unless it is $$ they dont have the capacity to follow up I reckon MVP will be more competitive on that basis, noce delivery is not too $$
