cobrastang
Because Im really busy with work My girlfriend took the supra for mot today.I'd say I was about 75% confident of it passing. It failed...........Horn not working and no foglight working/no foglight. Anyone know if these might be on the same fuse?It has passed previous Mot's with last keeper and has a little round switch(not lighting up) and an aftermarket steering wheel with button in the middle. I recently had a dodgy immobiliser removed and wonder if this could be related to the fault? Are the foglights part of the rear light cluster as I dont have one of those ugly lights attached to the bumper.Im hoping its a fuse thats the problem. Thanks in advance for any help with this problem. The mechanic says its a sound solid car apart fro these minor problems:(
leelbuk
Pretty sure they are separate fuses but no reason why 2 fuses can't be gone Stock j-spec's have no rear fog light so some people change one of their reverse lights in the rear cluster and put a fog light their instead but I suspect what has happened in your case is that the last owner had a bolt on fog light which he/she would bolt on to the rear of the car and temporarily connect it up for the MOT.
