rob wild
Hi folks Just wondering if anyone had a crank pulley tool I could borrow for a mate or suggest anywhere I could buy one for him. I would obviously cover the postage costs and throw in a bag of Cheers Rob

qwarrior
I made mine mate, but it's rusting in the garage somewhere. I'm sure when I did the crank pulley I looked at something similar on the Screwfix website for pulling bearings.

jackso11
halfords to the claw like ones pretty cheap, £20-£30 I think. Or you can get a set of ebay even cheaper if you can wait.

patrikbrunt
That set would be OK for removing the pulley once the bolt is off, but you would still need a locking tool to remove the bolt?
Rob
I have a supra specific one, locking tool and puller. It was about £20 to post iirc from when I weighed it at the PO. I would want a deposit also for security.
leelbuk
That set would be OK for removing the pulley once the bolt is off, but you would still need a locking tool to remove the bolt? I was wondering this as I couldn't see how this would stop the pulley/crank rotating whilst you try to undo the bolt - perhaps steviek can advise? EDIT: ^^ Robs tool looks nice and neat and I would certainly consider borrowing that. Anything to make a difficult job much easier!
