KrisM
Hi all, I have an Apexi water temp sender i need to fit. It is M12x1.25 in size. I ordered an inline aluminum adapter but it is a 1/8npt female thread. I think they are too close in size to retap unless someone knows different. Anyone know where i can get a suitable M12 adapter? Thanks

KrisM
Thanks both. I was considering using a 1/8 blank and drilling and tapping a new hole in what i have Scott. Will any temp sensor do the same job? Cheers Nic, appreciated. That looks expensive kit

You could go down the blank route but that would then open up potential issues. Best to weld it and then re-tap it. Is the adapter stainless? Might need to look around a wee bit for stainless welders local to you.
KrisM
Its aluminium. If i bunged it then i would use a liquid weld of some sort on the threads. I am concious it is on the bottom radiator hose so no cost cutting here really, could end in disaster.
