Ibrar Jabbar
Stripped and prepped the engine bay ready for paint. I decided to paint the bay black Stoneguard Shutz the nearside flitch. And the same for the offside. Fitted the front subframe. The rest of the underbody got the Shutz treatment too. All going well, I am going to drop the engine in tomorrow. SPG
Just saw this in Ibrar's workshop at 8pm and the new Engine Bay re-spray and Subframe looked immense, Ibrar showed me his engine on the stand and i have to say that the pictures don't do it justice, very talented individual and a proper gent too. Cheers for the Engine Ibrar, just got home about 10 mins ago. Glad you liked the new purchase
Pudsey
I think it looks superb.... I think the engine bay being black will tie in very nicely with the roof design. First I have ever heard of 'Shutz' Stoneguard is it a spray on underseal? Either way it looks like it certainly goes on very nicely.

Ibrar Jabbar
What made you turn away from colour coded bay Ibrar? does look a nice finish though, nice work Couple of reasons, If I ever decide to do a body colour change in the distant future I wouldn't need to touch the bay as black goes with any colour. The other reason is because the engine will stand out better on a black background as you will see later on when I post some pics up tonight. Rob_Mitchell
I nearly did mine black for the same reason as it does pop the colours and chrome out more. keep up the great work Ibrar
Ibrar Jabbar
Dropped the engine in earlier today and will start fitting it up tomorrow. However, I'm still waiting for the pulleys, throttle body, etc to arrive from the US so can't finish it of completely.
