I'm pleased you decided to weld the flange on instead of making an adaptor plate, it loos so much more neat. Have you sized up the TB against the flange while it's all in place. The finger/motor on the TB is very large. I had to make a small hole in Johnny's chassis leg to slip the end of the motor into so it would all fit nice and tidy.

Is your welder a robot by any chance??

Thats top draw...

He walks like a robot, so there may be some connection there :D

It wasn't easy chopping up a 2K manifold, but had to be done. :D There's plenty of clearance as I measured up about 20 times. I may mount it tonight and post pics later.

Sorry if this has already been covered why the vette TB, something to do with the ECU?

JohnnyG done the research into fitting a TB with true DBW to an aftermarket manifold. The Vette TB was chosen and worked great, so I'm going with Johnny's idea as advised by The Hodge

im loving the workmanship in this build,

are you going to remove the throttle cable bracket thats not being used now:eyebrows:

Thanks baldy, the bracket is staying It would be a mess if I attempted to remove it. ;)

Wow, just stumbled on this... A piece of art!

Well done, so impressed..

Thanks Mike

IBrah, this car rocks mate, it's a real work of art, even down to the gear box paint job, its stunning! Have you thought about venting the rockers under the car so the pipes are all but not seen? And is the black Water pipe at the rear of the bay going to be tucked away behind the motor when she is all complete?

Thanks, I prefer the pipes as they are, as I'm not really into hiding everything. None of the hoses have been fixed into place yet, but will be tidied up at a later stage.
