Ibrar Jabbar
A lovely Job of welding Ibrar? that welding looks BLOODY INSANE. Like it came from Hypertune that way. Very good Props to that guy... Yes the welding is identical, you could never tell it's been tampered with

hodge
I'm pleased you decided to weld the flange on instead of making an adaptor plate, it loos so much more neat. Have you sized up the TB against the flange while it's all in place. The finger/motor on the TB is very large. I had to make a small hole in Johnny's chassis leg to slip the end of the motor into so it would all fit nice and tidy.

He walks like a robot, so there may be some connection there This build is just unbelievable! What a car! It wasn't easy chopping up a 2K manifold, but had to be done. There's plenty of clearance as I measured up about 20 times. I may mount it tonight and post pics later. Ibrar Jabbar
Gave the gearbox a good degreasing and painted it in 2K satin black. Fitted the RPS carbon billet clutch and put the gearbox back where it belongs. Also fitted the manifold and TB. Ibrar Jabbar
Sorry if this has already been covered why the vette TB, something to do with the ECU? JohnnyG done the research into fitting a TB with true DBW to an aftermarket manifold. The Vette TB was chosen and worked great, so I'm going with Johnny's idea as advised by The Hodge im loving the workmanship in this build, are you going to remove the throttle cable bracket thats not being used now:eyebrows: Thanks baldy, the bracket is staying It would be a mess if I attempted to remove it. Wow, just stumbled on this... A piece of art! Well done, so impressed.. Thanks Mike

Bailey.
IBrah, this car rocks mate, it's a real work of art, even down to the gear box paint job, its stunning! Have you thought about venting the rockers under the car so the pipes are all but not seen? And is the black Water pipe at the rear of the bay going to be tucked away behind the motor when she is all complete?

None of the hoses have been fixed into place yet, but will be tidied up at a later stage. Matt H
Fantastic detail Quick question; the red highlighting of 'Getrag' on the box looks impeccable, how did you achieve this? I want the 'APR Racing' on my brake calipers doing in a similar fashion but the first painter I asked said it would be too tricky?
