Josh
My driver's side window has a small gap between it and the seal which causes a whistling sound when going over 80 leptons. I've got the door card off as I remember someone saying you can adjust the glass. Can anyone tell me how to do this, please? Thanks
mwilkinson
If its the height your talking about then there will be two small bump stops at the top of each door. They stop the window going too high. They are accessed through holes at the top inside part of the door. If my memory serves me correctly they might have sticky labels over them, so these will need to be peeled off first. The tilt of the window can be adjusted by rotating a handle near the bottom of the door. Again if my memory serves me correctly this is the only knob you can turn on the door. Obviously turn it one way for out and the other for in, its not rocket science

I'll have a go then let you know. Cheers!

The lower knob should be visible and the upper stoppers are enclosed behind their own seals because they are not covered by the big plastic moisture seal. Will see if I can find a picture. mwilkinson
Borrowed from Matt H's speaker install. You can see the tilt adjuster at the bottom of the door. Its the bot below the handle with the long metal strip. Its outside the moisture barrier as I can see the mastic line where it use to be. The white coloured knob on the left side is the thing you need to adjust for the tilt. I think you might also have to undo the screw in the middle of the plate to do this then tighten it up afterwards. As for the two window height adjusters I can see that they are indeed behind the moisture barrier. You can see the bolt for one inside a hole above the speaker bracket. I would think its the tilt you need to adjust not the height, as over time the rubber looses is flex and becomes compressed and hence the road noise and slight leaking. Josh
Thank you very much, very helpful. Managed to just move the front bump stop up and it's now sealing correctly. Thanks for your help. Now to go for a drive to make sure it's sorted
