The Raven
As above really. I was driving stopped at a round about 30 seconds later smack! Lucky i had my foot on the brake at the time or he would have pushed me into the traffic. Large white flat bed lorry to the back of the Scenic first look it didnt look to bad, dented the rear hatch, popped a few clips from the bumper. However, having opened the boot up its rippled the seal and there is a large kink half way up. I dont see how they can repair the boot lid. If they cant, and the it needs a new bumper i would think they will bin the motor. I will attempt to buy it back and pull the dents out so it looks ok, then drive it into the ground. Damage to his van.............nothing. Edit. Lucky i had left my son with his nan or he would have taken a hell of a jolt. Its my understanding that car seats should be chucked after a smash? I trust thats just if there is a child in them at the time?

L18msy
If it has broke the tailgates 'back' it would be easier to replace it. What year is the Renault? Pics if you have some.

tbourner
This is what scares me most about motorcycling, not the things I can avoid if I'm aware but things that hit you when you're just sat there!
