nevins
Was watching this on the news this morning, they had not edited at that point and it was sickening watching the cars driving along and then getting hit with the wall of water. Im guessing they have realised now that it was not the best thing to show on tv.

ozz
Incredible scenes, I just checked in with my boss - we have sites across the region (mines, refineries, offices) no word on impact to staff/operations yet and he's okay. He was in Japan last week luckily he's in brisbane today. These disasters seem to be following him around! Fingers crossed for the indonesia impacts, we have lots of staff there. Homer
The helicoptor video footage of the wave coming in across the farmland and small towns is just incredible, it just destroyed everything in it's path, you could see some people trying to escape, but they had almost no chance
KamaSupra
I'm watching across a few of the news channels, some amazing footage of the water causing damage. Can't imagine how scary it must be during a big earthquake let alone knowing that a tsunami is on the way. I hope the death toll doesn't become too large Never underestimate the power of nature...
