Muffleman
Hi all, I've had a few cars in my time (as the wife will tell you ), however, I've never actually had a full respray I recently sold my Supra to fund a new Supra project car, but this is gonna have to wait until later in the year - a nice winter project So to satisfy my desire for things loud and fast, I'm going to keep my MR2 Turbo and give it a full windows out respray. (The was my project car before I got my Supra). The car has many mods (rebuilt engine and hybrid turbo, Ohlins coilovers etc etc etc) but I've kept it quite subtle externally. A rev. 3 makeover, Toms air scoop for improved airflow to the intake, 17" wheels but otherwise quite subtle. ie http://www.users.totalise.co.uk/~mshosier/MSHPerf/MR2%20003.jpg I popped into the bodyshop this morning to book it in and choose the colour. Originally I thought a strong black with a little something in it would be cool, something like Ford Panther Black. But then I realised that the only thing we're not painting is the engine bay, so I could have a colour change - now I really don't know what to do Any suggestions very welcome. No flippy trippy colours please, I DON'T read Lax Power Couple of colours I saw this morning were Ferrari Nero Daytona (very nice), Nissan Black Blue Pearl (Black but blue in the light) and BMW Carbon Black (new E46 M3 colour that sparkles a little in the sunlight). Any ideas ? Matt

Nic
Matt, the colours TVR use look very distictive, without being OTT. I'm thinking of doing mine in the silver that they use on the TVR's or a dark metallic graphite colour.

Muffleman
Never thought I'd go green, but the bodyshop is trying to match that TVR green as we speak ! I'll post pics when it's done. Also thought about the TVR Chameleon Orange, but settled on the lairy green. So much for 'black with a little something in it'
