mwilkinson
I believe you need to get hold of a set of pipes from an N/A. I remember reading this on a previous thread. As you know I'm also doing this. Has anyone got any stock oil cooler pipes from the water pump from an N/A engine?
Paul Whiffin
Just connect the 2 up with a hose?
SimonB
The neat way of doing it is to replace the metal pipe that attaches to the water pump with one from an N/A. That pipe doesn't go round the back of the block at all. You can only do that if you disconnect the coolant feeds to the IACV and throttle body though (or don't have any). You can then remove the union that screws into the block and screw in a blanking cap in instead. There's some details of what I did in my engine build thread here.
