Tricky-Ricky
Need to find out if you can get a cistern/water tank float valve that has a fitting that can take a pipe on the outlet, just like the inlet IE kind of straight through design. Had a look on a few plumbing supply sites but couldn't see anything?
Havard
I supply tanks but I am confused as to what you are after? H.

I thought i had described what I'm after, but I'll have another go, a ballcock with an outlet the same as the inlet, IE a piece of pipe with a float operated ball valve in the middle? hows that? I now understand. Why would you want something that operates level control but the inlet water goes down a pipe as opposed to into the tank? H. wallis
hey up fella, i understand what u mean no problem there, slightly interested as to why u would want to fit something onto the outlet of a brass or plastic ball valve? I have never seen a ball valve with a half or three quarter inch male iron fitting on it in my life and i do loads of commercial/domestic work. Im not saying they dont exist and im sure one could be made, just not common!

Its for a level control on a filtration system that needs to have the inlet go through another section first, but with the overall level controlled at another point, hence the through requirement:)

merckx
You can buy them in the US on Ebay, they ship worldwide. Looks like £21.57. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350441299948&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT Or you could get one of these and solder or braze a pipe on. http://www.plumbnation.co.uk/site/brass-ball-float-valve/ball-float-valve.jpg
