jackso11
Just rang my local Toyota dealer for a price on refurb kits for my calipers, part numbers: 04479-14120 Front 2 pot caliper overhaul kit 04479-24030 Rear 1 pot caliper overhaul kit Total price £109 !! for just the rubber seals!? This seems like far to much for a few dust seals. Anyone know where I can get them cheaper?

Very expensive for what you get. With the 4pot kit you get 8 dust boots, 8 internal seals, 8 boot retainers, 2 pin retainers & 4 banjo gaskets iirc. I might have missed stuff out, but it is a little more than just a couple of seals
jackso11
Makes me thing I may aswell just get new brakes at that price, save giving them an overhaul
Scott
Up to yourself. They will be virtually new once done though. It's a good job to do to be honest. New brakes would be expensive and 2nd hand won't be as good as refurbs, they would be a lottery.
