JustGav
As much as I miss mine..... the reliability of it left a lot to be desired... although it didn't help mine had home made expansion systems hanging off the IO bus... These days it is easier to just wrap it around an emulator
RobSheffield
I did think about an emulator. I remember the 40 min load times only to find it hadnt loaded at all. Crushing disappointment indeed
Missile
Had one years and years ago. Treasure island dizzy was a favorite of mine.
RedM
My Grandad has my old one and he still uses it several times a week. Even the old 1540 disk drive is still going. We still have challenge matches on Racing Destruction Set when I visit.

stevie_b
anyone remember "chuckie egg" on the "bbc micro" ? Hell yes! We had a Beeb in the household when I was at school. Fond memories, but again I prefer to use BeebEm if on Windows. I haven't found a decent (i.e. one that works and doesn't need 10s of libraries compiled and configured) Beeb emulator for Linux.
