Jurgen-Jm-Imports
liverpool played fantastic and deserved to win.. but carragher should have been sent off, also maybe even maxi for the slice on rafael before he himself could of also off went.. so i think maybe liverpool should of been down to defo 10 men and maybe 9 before rafaels challange.. as the game pattern never changed due to bad ref decisions they were worthy winners 11 vs 11.. but decisions in last few weeks from refs have been shocking.. wigan vs man utd rooney - no red card chelsea vs man utd luiz - no red card x2 pens not giving to man utd 1x harshly giving to chelsea arsenal vs sunderland arshavin off side goal not given yesterday,. liverpool vs man utd carra - no red card thats just some examples but am sure there is more lol none of the less it makes it interesting.. bradleyh_15
Nani's injury Not nice! But carragher waited outside the Man U dressing room to apologies but yes should have walked! Rafael should have walked also for the 2 footed challenge! But the ref did not see it that way and as the ref did not see that Rooney should have been sent off against Wigan so things do get missed and go Unpunished and not get punished as harshly as they should! But the result is the result at the end of the day!

SupraDan24
I agree with everything you just said Jurgen. Nani was a bit of a tit when he got up then fell back down, although tbf, it was a harsh challenge and definately warrented a red card. Maybe the ref thought Nani was a Liverpool player after his quite perfect set up for Liverpools first goal haha. liverpool played fantastic and deserved to win.. but carragher should have been sent off, also maybe even maxi for the slice on rafael before he himself could of also off went.. so i think maybe liverpool should of been down to defo 10 men and maybe 9 before rafaels challange.. as the game pattern never changed due to bad ref decisions they were worthy winners 11 vs 11.. but decisions in last few weeks from refs have been shocking.. wigan vs man utd rooney - no red card chelsea vs man utd luiz - no red card x2 pens not giving to man utd 1x harshly giving to chelsea arsenal vs sunderland arshavin off side goal not given yesterday,. liverpool vs man utd carra - no red card thats just some examples but am sure there is more lol none of the less it makes it interesting.. Jurgen-Jm-Imports
am just watching the wolves vs spurs highlights and again - dodgy decisions.. i agree thats a refs job is a very hard one but its time they do something - as so many bad decisions are causing teams to be relegated or winning titles or champ leagues places. It's made worse when FIFA have again said no to goal line technology after there meeting in Wales and refuse to let the 10 companies interested in doing it trial it in any sanctioned leagues!! They need to get with the times like rugby, tennis, cricket and American football!

bradleyh_15
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ta4gmQuVwz4 Won't load on my phone but apparently the carragher tackle!
Ian W
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ta4gmQuVwz4 Won't load on my phone but apparently the carragher tackle! Should have walked in my opinion. Shades of Shawcross on Aaron Ramsey and would have been far more serious if Nani's leg was planted in the turf.

I think some refs are scared to book certain players or cause controversy in certain games involving certain clubs!

Scott
Should have been a straight red for that challenge. Ref made an arse of it. Seeing more and more refereeing decisions going wrong. The linesmen are meant to be there to help with decisions but they just stay out of it nowadays. It's hopeless, the referees are even worse up here. supramkivcork
Result was well deserved. Carra could and should have seen red. So should Rafael so should Rooney for the elbow incident. The list goes on and will continue to do so. Over the years united have got much more than their fair share of luck from refs so can't say I'd feel any sorrow for them at all. Then again I do support Liverpool and any team that Dirk Kuyt scores 3 times against deserves their arse to be handed to them

What a load of tosh, care to back it up with any facts? Liverpool deserved the win, played the better football on the day. Uniteds away form has been poor all season and this came as no surprise. Carra and Maxi should have walked without question, Carra nearly broke the guys leg, the ref saw this and mad a real mess of it. Worst tackle of the season. MaveriK
How about we order that in number of penalties given, seriously what a joke. SAF time, please, what about all the times that we are winning and extra goes up, is that in our favour? No, again just United haters trumping up rubbish. Maybe we should have Arsenal time after only 2 minutes going up against Barca this year? Ronaldo curb'ed his diving, i am hoping Nani will do the same, thats if he can walk in the near future after the attack by carragher. Lots of footballers dive, Pires, Gerrard, Klinsmen, i could go on but please dont make out its only united players that do it Rooney's elbow was wrong and stupid. Shall we discuss Gerrards elbow that went unpunished? Or the guy that elbowed Nani in the face a couple of weeks back? Didnt bother reading the link, will assume its more biased codswallop
johnny g
Don't like either team, didn't watch. 4+hr trip home too. Ouch.

Didnt bother reading the link, will assume its more biased codswallop You asked for facts, you got them . Didn't bother reading the link as you knew yourself what it would entail. Ronaldo curbed his diving. That in itself is an admission that it was worse also you hope Nani will do the same ? So he is at present very prone to diving I assume you'd admit by what you've said. You hope he can walk in the near future after the attack by Carragher ? Thats hilarious as only a couple of seconds after the "attack" he got up to show the ref the wound. I'd say you can safely assume he'll be ok. I'd agree that Gerrard has dived in the past but it's certainly nowhere near as pertinent in his nature as it is with the likes of Nani & Ronaldo. Rooney is also partial to a bit of it but thats normally down some grandmothers house. Couldn't be bothered reading the rest of the post, will assume it's more biased codswallop
