RobSheffield Posted June 26, 2005 Share Posted June 26, 2005 would one of the technical membrs of the forum please help me find the 'speed pulse wire' as i am fitting sat nav to my car and it is required the unit is an Alpine IVA 310r flip out screen linking to the NVE N099P nav system, it clearly states that a green white wire on the nav wiring is to connect to the Speed Pulse Wire any help gladly recieved - thankyou! weinelm Posted June 26, 2005 Share Posted June 26, 2005 You have a choice of two. There is a blue-red wire that goes into the back of the odometer and also the speedo. weinelm Posted June 26, 2005 Share Posted June 26, 2005 Personally I'd use solder and heatshink tubing. I don't like crimp connectors because they pull out easily (unless you can get your hands on an aircraft grade crimp tool...). Don't solder too close to the connector, as the wire will become brittle and break off at the pin.... and that is hard to fix! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
