The Raven
FUEL TO GO UP TO £4 A litre Sooner or later they will replace petrol. Matter of time the more it goes up the harder they work to replace it. Anyway id more concerned by your heating bills and petrol. Oil prices push up Gas Infact have you have your loft topped up?
Attero
Fuel to go up to £10 a litre... I think I'll sell my Supra then.
Scott
With Johnny here. Can't see that happening, it would push the UK public over the edge and there would be a huge uprising IMO.

Josh
With Johnny here. Can't see that happening, it would push the UK public over the edge and there would be a huge uprising IMO. I don't think anything would happen. The general public of the UK are p*ssies.
Scott
For about 2 days... and then everyone will just moan and carry as usual. I don't think so. The industry couldn't take it mate, honestly. There will be a breaking point, the pressure the govnt is under at the moment is unbelievable. Going up to anywhere near £2 would be the big steel pole that broke the camels back. johnny g
What the Goverment need to do now is publicise their share, so the oil companies are under pressure to keep their bit down.
Scott
LMAO the words British and uprising? No, people will moan, bitch have a tea then continue on. We always do I don't think anything would happen. The general public of the UK are p*ssies. There's a limit, there is always a breaking point. Granted we generally do it all politely and through protests, but if the industry suffers the people will suffer. IMO this will bring a HUGE increase of honest hard working men and women losing their jobs and pushing the government into action... whether the people are silent or not. I honestly believe the UK general public will only take so many pokes with a stick, if something did happen in this nation.... it would be BIG. It's like the quiet ones in school, it's usually best not to piss them off as when they lose the plot they SERIOUSLY lose the plot.
Scott
What the Goverment need to do now is publicise their share, so the oil companies are under pressure to keep their bit down. 40% was mentioned on the radio the other day. I almost choked when I heard it. Granted that particular figure won't be as much of an impact in the industrial side of things, but certainly for your average joe getting to work it is a HUGE amount to be skimming. dude
why? Sensationalism, if it went to £2 a litre people would not be able to get to work ther country would grinfd to halt and there would be civil unrest (which may be a good idea), the yanks are whinging on the tri chevy forum that they are paying $3.30 a gallon, rip off britain again, its not the petrol companies its the fu****g government, lost the revenue from cigs so getting it wherever they can to pay for the war !!!!!!!
