Gordon F
If you look at the discs, there are two threaded holes on the hub face. They are either 6 or 8mm (I cant remember). If you screw two bolts into these, they will pull the disc off the hub.

Gordon F
cheers, don't know the rear hub torque setting do you? Sorry no, but a search on here or a call to Toyota will hopefully come up with the info. You don't need to undo the hub nut to change the discs though.. Chris Wilson
Quite, I hope you haven't undone the rear hub nut thinking it has to come off to remove the rear discs? You may need to adjust the handbrake shoe star wheel adjuster for the handbrake drum shoes, for the rear disc to come off. It's accessed through a hole in the wheel face of the disc, and the hole should be blanked with a rubber grommet. The adjuster is at 6.00 o'clock, at the bottom, you may need to shine a pencil torch through the hole to line the star wheel up with the access hole. Turn it with a flat baladed screwdriver through the hole to bak off the shoes away from any wear lip. If in doubt get a pro to help. (She'll take your mind off the unpleasantness of the job )
