TrevS
Hi all Massive news for Jaguar fans as it seems a new E-type concept is going to be put into production. No exact figures on price yet but estimated to be between £400-800k depending on numbers of cars produced. Full details here http://www.topgear.com/uk/assets/cms/eea0e14d-819b-4d2f-a483-fd4f7610ec74/Large%20Image.jpg?p=110304_10:42 Looks stunning, what do you guys think? j_jza80
If they build it, and it looks like that, they will be able to sell it for whatever they want. Utterly stunning, Jaguar are without a doubt my favourite car brand of the moment, they have by far the best overall lineup.
Dnk
The £400-800k price tag just ruined it
Gaz6002
It isn't a Jaguar though.

j_jza80
It isn't a Jaguar though. It's a Jag parts bin special Still utterly beautiful though
j_jza80
Is it just me, or does it look more like the Toyota 2000gt than the e-type?
Gaz6002
It's a Jag parts bin special Still utterly beautiful though It's nice, but it's only another concept that a company says they'll make for buyers with ridiculous budgets. Nothing new there, and it certainly isn't another E-Type if only for the stupid price tag.

RobSheffield
Its a concept of an Etype replica based on an XKR but for 400k? Looks pretty but no thanks!
AndrewOW
I know I'll invite some criticism here, but I hated the original E-Type, but that new one is just superb. What an absolute beauty. IMHO, of course. EDIT: What an unfortunate nickname it has though. "Growler"
jagman
Wrong car , they already made the xk180 - now THAT was the car to make !, priced 30-50 k , and it must be future proofed , use of the micro turbines,or hydrogen cell driving electric motor wheels , and very light weight - would sell like hot cakes !! once people overcame the petrol addiction! KamaSupra
If it's only a concept, you can guarantee when it's made it'll look nothing near as stunning as that
