mistertwo
Went to look at one of these things today, how effing cheap for all that car! This one had been used by the road traffic piggies (but I won't hold that against it ), had leather Recaros (I think that's standard), loads of other kit, nice alloys, good beefy look - 65K on the clock and for under 5k! I'm seriously tempted, have read lots of reviews online and watched the Top Gear review of it alongside the Mazda 6 and Vectra VXR. As far as I can tell, the only downsides are that it's a tiny bit thirsty (but what can you expect from a 3l V6), it has a crappy badge on the front and people might suspect you're a traffic cop. Anyone got any real world experiences of them? What do you think?
SupraDan24
I'm mates with a guy who had one last year, i thought it looked very nice, and i got to drive it for a few miles. It handled very well i thought, and was pretty responsive. Nice cars IMO.
SilentAgro
The thing is.. If it is from the police. They don't just keep them standard as far as i know. It could have a few mods done to it

It could have a few mods done to it I didn't think they modded them, just serviced them every 5K miles? I would have one, it's obviously been accelerating reasonably quickly at some point but show me a car that hasn't? H.

It could have a few mods done to it Even better as far as I am aware though, it is perfectly standard. I would have one, it's obviously been accelerating reasonably quickly at some point but show me a car that hasn't? Exactly. Atleast it's been thrashed by people trained to thrash cars, as opposed to chavs who are qualified because of mass Gran Turismo experience! SilentAgro
ahh okay. I wasn't too sure. Just one of the things you hear sometimes Yeah thats it. They are trained to drive like it and they are always maintained at a high standard. I would go for it They are quite rare cars.
