hogmaw
Just paid 87p a litre. When I first got the LPG car a few years ago it was 50p. So an increase of 74% in 3 years I know everything is on the up, I'm just hoping LPG won't go how diesel has gone and soon be more expensive than petrol. I'm already seriously considering changing to a diesel commuter car now as the benefits of LPG appear to be dwindling.
j_jza80
I don't think it's anything like that much up here Most likely that place cashing in on the current petrol price increases
Dnk
The national average is 77.8p per litre, it was 40p per litre in 2006

hogmaw
Yes as % increases go even the small increases make the petrol increases look tiny by comparison

Purity14
When I fill my supra with LPG at the current average now it is still half the cost of petrol!
Dnk
It used to be way under half the cost of petrol but going by the average prices it isn't any more. Lpg was 40p per litre in 2006 Unleaded was 90p per litre in 2006 Lpg is now 78p per litre Unleaded is 1.30p per litre Its closing the gap quite considerably and making it less and less attractive to have fitted if your buying the equipment and have the outlay of that to take into account
