I thought I'd kicked my need for classic muscle, but this thread has brought it all back :(

I'm waiting for an email back from a guy selling an old camaro which has caught my eye.

As Gaz said, it's up for 20 large. But as far as I can see, it's all finished. It has the big block 454 V8. Which, if I remember rightly is 7.2ltrs . Mated with the rock solid thm400 box. I've been doing research on classic muscle cars for years and have slowly become infactuated with them. I've then gone out of my way to find some reason not to own one, but I can't. Parts are readily available, and they're dirt cheap to boot. Crate engines are available, and the gearboxes are still used to this day with most specialists able to work on them.

Then there's the whole 'paying no road tax', it's like sticking two fingers up at the governments tax banding system and shouting "7.2ltrs, and no road tax you mugs!!".

Someone needs to give me a damn good reason not to get one.......................
