How to route hoses with oil cooler and oilfilter relocation

I did like this using a Greddy oilcooler kit:

And doing so I had no need for a oilfilter relocation kit. I made a special bolt between the filter and block and bought a 90 degree rubber hose for the water connection.

IMO these oil filter relocation kits often remove the reliable and trouble free stock filter location set up, and through bad design, or bad installation you end up with some bits of Dexion holding the filter in some perilous place fed by yards of snaking pipework. The Mats R installation set up is far better, again, IMO :) I did the same on my RB26 engine and removed the Modine oil to water heat exchanger. Very sanitary!

Mats R, very nice to see an engine build that's not oozing gobs of instant gasket out of the sump and oil pump joints ;) That's one of my absolute pet hates.
