My boss is a watch fanatic and has recently bought a watch which is huge and has a big lever on the side that looks like a bottle oppener. He reckons it was designed for fighter pilots and the reason it the lever is so big is so they can press it when wearing their thick gloves! Very useful when he drives a BMW. He's a true Essex boy, not sure if that has any bearing on his taste in watches or not ;)

Probably a Graham watch (way over the top)

Not to keen on the OP choice personally, the diamonds ruin it for me. I've got a breitling but a much cheaper version they do make some lovely watches though:)

Breitling seem to be following their stablemates Bentley down the path to chavland, or celebrity bling anyway.

Breitling make watches for Bently ;)

I had a Breitling B1, a mighty watch, but not Im not a fan of the Chronomat. Isnt the Colt a ladies watch? ;) For an understated yet quality watch Id choose the Aerospace Titanuim

I have a Breitling, which for some reason is rated to a ridiculous 10,000ft below sea level. I'm not sure why you'd need a nice watch at that depth. My wife shouted at me once cos I was wearing it while cleaning the pond.

I like the high end watches and appreciate the aesthetics and workmanship that goes in to a well made watch. Im not keen on lots of diamonds or gold though as its a bit over the top.

I think sometimes they don't know when to stop, more diamonds and gold doesn't make it better and makes the watch too fussy.

My favourite watch has to be the Hublot big bang.

Hey Colin, hope you are keeping well mate.

The Breitling in my opening pic was actually my recent Birthday pressie from my wife. It’s not quite everyone’s taste, agreed, but I fancied something different and saw this. The 2-carat VVS diamond cluster on solid gold bezel did it for me.

Thanks for the comments guys.
