Tricky-Ricky
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking for yet more insurance companies that insure Japanese imports? I have spent the morning trawling around the following, with very little results, it seems a lot of the ones that did insure imports with modifications, no longer do so, and the rest don't even have a Skyline 350GT listed List of the ones that i have tried: Acorn. TPO on imports. Warwick Davis. NO Osborne & Son, same as current underwriters, but dearer. Heritage. NO Keith Michaels. NO classic only. Premium Choice. NO Nowell & Richards. NO Chris Knott. NO Sky reasonable quote from current underwriters. Insurance Factory. waiting for call back. Endsleigh. NO Performance Direct. waiting for call back. Crowthorne NO A Plan waiting for call back. Current:Adrian Flux. waiting for renewal. I Quote waiting for call back. So not looking very promising so far, just wondered if anyone could recommend any other companies that i haven't tried, that do modified import insurance?? ozz
Bell, Admiral, been with both with my J-Spec with mods and had good prices. I'll second those, Bell gave me best price on my JDM 350z, which after all is just a pretty version of the Skyline :p:p Upon renewal, I seem to find admiral cheaper, but being same company they price match. den1
Is It me ...but...when I phone Sky I seem to get the impression that they think are doing me a favour?
johnny g
Is It me ...but...when I phone Sky I seem to get the impression that they think are doing me a favour? It's a sales technique, Den. You think they're doing you a favour, so you hand over your hard earned. Sky are not the only ones to do it, so it's nothing at all against them. Tricky-Ricky
Yeah! i talked to Admiral after someone recommended them as being cheap for imports, however they couldn't find a Nissan Skyline 350GT on their database, well actually they could but it was listed as not being an import and was only ever made in 2002:blink: mine is 2004, they couldn't even find Infinity G35 which its pretty much i identical to, however there is someone on the 350Z forum with an Infiniti FX35 (four by four) and a 350Z insured with them:blink:

Havard
Lynbrook are the best for a classic policy, slightly modified. Other than that I would try Carole Nash, Keith Michaels, LV etc
Shane
Markrichard. But don't bother with their website, that quoted me a silly amount, call and ask for the nice lady who deals with imports. Bpu with mods disclosed, 9yrs ncd, £475, Sky £742, Adrian Flux £800ish.
