Graham S
I'm calling that a kit car... Thats a 2001/51 plate is it not? Wasn't the F40 late '80's? I do hope i'm wrong though, don't know them well enough to be able to spot any sort of diffference.

Josh
It was registeredd here in 2001........having seen it...its defo a real one!!!! I didn't think it worked like that. If you were to import a Supra today, you couldn't register it on an "11" plate.
dan294
As i said earlier. its a 1989 car. If you put its reg number into the DVLA website, it is listed as a 2.9 Ferrari. But for some reason, registered on a 51 plate in early 2001 over here. Not sure how that works though......

Evil_Nuts
If it's been registered abroad, say Italy....then the owner sold or moved here, would that count for the 51 plate??
garethr
If it's been registered abroad, say Italy....then the owner sold or moved here, would that count for the 51 plate??It shouldn't, but there are plenty of Japanese imports that were incorrectly registered under the import year.
