SupraMan Mk4
If I was told it would be 2.5k to beinsured on my NA, I would be returning their NA offer with a big FU.
evinX
Have to say we live only about 12 miles from Kev and my 20yr old daughter is paying £600 for cover on her 1.2 4 dr Punto so maybe this is a high area for young people to get cover. i pay £800 for my 1.6 primera 5door... marcAB10
(lets see if i can actually reply in the correct thread this time lol) i think i was around £2k tpft on honda delsol VTi when i was about 19... insane money really, i would never pay that now for a honda but at the time if it's your pride and joy you just accept it. I don't regret it, so i guess it was ok. and i agree that phoning direct is how you get the best quotes, online always seems way more expensive
RobSheffield
Rob stop being a pleb head, the price i got is fine for a 20year old, cheaper than i expected...least i get to drive mine.... unlike YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While i congratulate your superb business skills in finding such a blinding quote (sawyoucoming.net) i cant help but point out that although you can drive your Supra, i personally would rather not drive it. Fire extinguisher in the face, matt black hamerite, abortion bodykit and 1991 3 spokes No thanks! Makes you more of a monkey by far, BUT, like people who want to be nice/cant think of anything else to say to you keep saying, if you are happy thats the key thing. Some people just have low expectations Kev please put us out of our misery and stop the speculation, please tell us that you got quotes from everywhere and everyone before accepting this price? Maybe that's what it costs to insure a NA at your age and in your location etc nowadays. Rob, I could get my MOT and Tax £200 cheaper than you are offering but as you are the club MOTer I will go with you, hope that's ok? Pleased to offer my services

When i did have my Supra though it wasnt a shitter of an NA, and i never paid over £800 for fully comp insurance No i dont have the shell any more, so stop asking to buy it all the time. What i dont have is an NA Supra with dodgy paint worth £1500 if you are lucky. If this wasnt another of your 'look at me, im the youngest Supra owner, i paid the least for my Supra, now i paid the most for my insurance' threads, then i would be well happy that you are so close to getting the car on the road, but thats just what it is. Personally id have stuck in the Primera for a while longer.

I'll give that an 8.5 1 point lost for "batty boy" , too Ali G 0.5 point lost for "stuck in" instead of "stuck with" Good effort though

evinX
Do you know what...this forum, or should i say people are just full of pure and utter bo!!ox sometimes, first of its all...oh insurance is going to cost a bit....then when i get it at a great price, its, oh i could get insurance at my local newspaper shop for pennies. I like the forum, but sometimes it just gets ruined by the planks on it. Really shameful on all of us guys.
