bradleyh_15
Is it an alloy or steel wheel? If it's alloy and been on a while you will have to give it some grief to get it off!
Scott
Lie on your back and kick it LHS then RHS until it comes off. Right at the outer edge of the tyre. Kick REALLY hard.

With you on that one but would not advise doing it if it's on a scissor jack!

Animal
If it won't budge by kicking it, try pouring boiling water over the hub, then kick it some more. That freed up my wheel when it got stuck.

ShamelessTT
Block of wood behind it, and a lump hammer if kicking it fails..........helps if you go for a good spirited drive to warm up the hub aswell. (Just get some copper grease on it once you get it off and clean up the hub and alloy)
evinX
yea its an alloy, will have to try kicking it off then! when i get it off vasaline it all up isit? so doesnt happen agen? lol dont use vasaline, use copper grease and give it a shoot with some wd40 on the wheel/hub (dont get any on the disc or calliper) before trying to kick it of:)
movistar
I Use a big rubber club hammer, the ones you would use to knock a wooden stake into the ground.(from a camp shop) Hit the wheel from the inside edge at 12-3-6-9 o clock and keep the wheel rotating whilst doing this. once off clean both hub and wheel with a wire brush then coat in copper grease to prevent any further problems. Good luck!
Havard
Did we get anywhere with this? My advice would be to reason with the wheel, talk to it in a calm and warm voice and it should sort itself out..!! H.

Havard
Are they the tactics you use with the other half when you can't be bothered?? No, use of a hammer and a wooden block seems more effective in that situation..!!

My advice would be to reason with the wheel, talk to it in a calm and warm voice and it should sort itself out..!! H. I have found that reasoning with it will just antagonise the wheel, and it may even find its way into the house at a later date and engage in consensual intercourse in the missionary position for the sole purpose of reproduction with your beloved other half. Suprab1
Hit the edge of the tyre with a sledge hammer & it will come off. If you have the car in the air make sure to leave a wheal nut on a few threads so the wheel doesn't fall & get damaged or bounce into or threw something.
