KrisM
Hi, Went to change the Lamda sensor this morning - 93 J-Spec. Problems with both the studs and nuts that hold it on the manifold. One sheared and the 2nd stud came out but is buckled. I may have been a bit heavy handed as even with releasing oil on the threads they were quite tight after 18years In hindsight i should have used the torq fitting on the end of the stud to remove rather than a 12mm on the nut. Live and learn. So if someone could be so kind to give me the part numbers for the studs and the nuts I would appreciate it. Also any tips for fitting the new studs? I was thinking a little heat on the cast iron would help fitting as its in quite an awkward place. Thanks
KrisM
Anyone with the EPC able to help me here? Was hoping to order the bits and get them by the weekend. I did phone Toyota from work but the bloke didn't understand what I was needing. Cheers

KrisM
Thanks mate. I'm downloading the epc now. 1hour to go, need to get these ordered in the morning so i can get them Friday and get the car running again. Stupid problem to have. Any reason I can't drive the car round to the garage with a hole in the downpipe?
CanisLupus
http://www.toyodiy.com/ then you don't need to download the EPC I "think" it should be ok for a few meters to drive.
KrisM
thanks but toyodiy don't do diagrams anymore. i installed the epc last night but cannot get it to work. deep joy. guess i'll just have to phone toyota again and order a few different studs with different part numbers and hopefully get the correct ones. KrisM
Right found this part number: lock nuts-#90179-08059 [8mm w/washer for 02 studs/ misc] I understand this is probably just the nut. Can someone lookup this part and give me the number for the M8 stud it fits? Thanks in advance
Keefred
I reckon its this 17141D BOLT, STUD (FOR O2 SENSOR) 90126‑08001 2JZGE..JZA80 4 $3.85 If you google 90126-08001 it seems to be common to a lot of models, is listed here as well but no picture, just says standard part but does say for TT http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1994_TOYOTA_SUPRA_JZA80-AJPQZ_1701.3.html
KrisM
Intended to update this weeks ago. The part numbers required should anyone use the search function in future and find this thread 8mm Lock nuts - 90179-08059 8mm stud - 90116-08128 This stud does not have the torq head for installation. I used an 8mm stud extractor to wind it in. Incidentally the new lambda has doubled the mpg! Cheers
