j_jza80
The first thing i'd do is check/test the spark plugs, then the coilpacks.
Bailey.
My rx7 was a bastard for fowling plugs, I had this with that, crazy antilag sound even on light throttle, removed plugs and replaced and it was sweet, give it a go.

dude
Unplug the ignitor pack and spray some water dispersant in the plug, also check the coil pack plugs very closely to make sure the wires arent bared and touching close to the actual plugs. dude
Thats not the ignitor pack or wires to the coil packs though is it, also test the map sensor and there is a little black canister screwed into the plenum just infront of the IAC valve, remove that and make sure it is clear, it will have a small vac pipe on it. dude
OK but you have not checked what I told you too, we have had a few do this and itrs been the wires to the coil packs shorting together in the loom, these looms are now old and the integrity of the wires is in doubt. As you seem sure you know best I will wish you luck and not post again.
