Electircal Seats Wiring Info, Plus... what's this box?

I'm fitting an electric drivers seat where my Recaros previously were. There are a few changes that I have noticed with the electric subframes.

The seatbelt connector has 3 wires going to it. Any idea why? The connector I have only has 2, I can't see any reason for 3 wires on the seatbelt as it is only a switch. Is one of them redundant or used for a different reason? The white with black line splices into the white with black line for the power to the seats. This leaves me with yellow/red line (no idea what it is for) and black with white line (the other connection I have in the current plug. I was thinking that as the white with black line is already connected to an earth, the only one I can wire up is the black and white. The yellow and red would be left without a connection, any issues with this that you can think of? Any reasoning for this?

Lastly, I have noticed these boxes under my drivers seat but never thought to ask what they were. Thought I might as well while I was at it. Any ideas??

had the same on my car its the remote central locking ecu (factory fitted). there are a couple of fuses in the drivers side kick panel the feeds this device, the fuses look like aftermarket inline types.

Yellow/Red wires on the seats is for heated seats I think.

Hmm, maybe I followed the wrong wire.

It did seem to go into the seatbelt but I will check it properly tomorrow. I certainly couldn't see the 2pin plug that is normally used for the seatbelt (passenger side is as it should be, 2 pins 1 black with white line, the other white with black line)

I got the loom from Keron so that I could do a decent job It matches the 2 plugs perfect so seems totally standard. It has the power for the electrical seat on one plug and the other plug with the 3 wres branching off of it (that I thought was for the seatbelt). White with black line, black with white line, and yellow with red line.

Cheers

Ahh that explains it. Thanks :)
