I bought it like that though, so have no idea how it was done. It's for sale but noone seems to be interested due to the price. I have had previous gauges apart, the front lens cap bit usually unfolds at the rear, it isn't an easy job to do and I ended up ruining the edge (it was for the bin anyway). I think the stock colour is white so it isn't even as if you could do a swap with the gauge. I would maybe PM Heckler and see what he thinks of it.
