Guest George89
you don't need to screw it evenly. Its the easiest way too get the rear discs off without breaking anything. Put a screw on the top hole which would push the disc at the top out. Then unscrew it and put it in the bottom hole and the disc should pop out. its the easiest way. Scott
Ahh. I found removing them easy with the handbrake wound in properly (obviously not the first time though lol).

Dim Sum
I give it ago today looking out what i've being told and still i don't have a clue, it looks like the disc is stuck for good. I know the brakes are on it, i forgot to take a picture when its off. On the third picture if you look at the middle round circle it looks to me that it can't be taken off. Dim Sum
Said cog http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=93037&d=1243211276 Looking at this picture is that on the top and bottom of the disc? so i'm looking for all the wrong places? monsween
Its at the bottom of the disk. See the hole at the top of your disk? Spin the whole hub so that's at the bottom and shine a torch through it.
bluecoup
turning the cogs can be tricky though the hole in the hub but if you free it off the disc will almost fall off, and depending on which way round that part of the drum system has been installed either up or down can free them off,
ScottC
The cogs at the bottom. Release the handbrake, remove the rubber grommet from the disk, rotate the disc so the hole is at the 6 o'clock position and with the aid of a torch you will see the cog inside which can be turned using a flat screwdriver which will release the shoes. monsween
Disk lined up at the bottom when i changed my brakes
Dim Sum
Thanks for everyones input. In the end, i just got a hammer and bashed it out........ nothing broke, i think the handbrake shoe, springs fell out other then that its okay. Put everything back together and so far its seems fine....... This is the right hand side disc.
