tbourner Posted February 24, 2011 Share Posted February 24, 2011 ..we all know the main crux of our fuel price is tax, even if they don't freeze Joe public's prices, why can't they cut a deal with the price to haulage companies so the cost of living doesn't keep increasing?! It is possible to do less miles, maybe...but we all still need to eat. Or use rail more at off peak times - like at night - to transport goods. I wonder at what point the price of fuel outweighs the savings made by shopping at a supermarket? Perhaps it's time to buy a corner shop. It is now, we do shopping online and gladly pay the delivery cost, or we go to the corner shop if it's just a couple of bits we need as the 3 miles to Tesco is just too much!!
