Neil-NA
+1 for the toothpaste, i had used loads of different things on mine and although i got good results nothing compared to what the toothpaste did to them.
reeceu
sandpaper if your goin serious!! toothpaste, scratchx or plastx is good. any metal polish will do a job. if you do it with the light on the car mask off the first few cm's of the paintwork if your using sandpaper to stop sanding off your paint!! monsween
I really wouldn't use something as abrasive as sandpaper on plastic clear lenses.

monsween
Just to be pedantic I'd call that wet n dry rather than sandpaper. Sounds less rough hehe. Just to make sure you know if you open up the lenses and put them back together there may be a chance of them steaming up if you don't get the seal properly
shaz2010
LOL, I ,a heard that might happen. if a was to do it any ideas what to seal it back up with. it looks like black silicone on them similar to what they put a window screen it with
reeceu
http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=130679 follow this thread, if you do it by hand dont use such low grit wet n dry, 1500 plus and really go for it with the metal polish/ plastx you use!!
