Guest LightSpeed
Hi, I have for sale a full set of Lexus GS300 Mk1 Sport Alloys. If you are on this forum you will know they look fantastic on MK4 Supras and that they are getting very hard to find now. This is a full set - 2 x Rear wheels (10" wide) and 3 x Front wheels (8" wide) plus four center caps. The whole set is in excellent condition as I've just had them professionally refurbished by the wheelcentre in Burton-On-Trent (cost me £450.00). http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/File/DerbyDetails.php I actually got two sets of these wheels - and had them both refurbished at the same time. The reason I went to the guys at thewheelspecialist was because I know they do a proper job - media blasting 1st, then powder coating, then laquer, then wax. The end result is fantastic as can be seen by the pics. I've got one set on my GS300, and I was planning to save the 2nd set (the ones I'm now selling) to go on my Supra project car. Unfortunately, my finances have taken a dive and the Supra project is on hold for the time being . I'm not happy about selling them as they took so long for me to find - but needs must I'm afraid. Anyway - they are in great condition - ready for tires and away you go. I was planning to stick them on eBay starting at £800.00 for the full set but I thought I'd put them on here 1st as I'd rather they went to a good home. Cheers, Mike. fizzle
diamond cutting them would be around £75 a wheel, however the centre caps can't be done.. Diamond cutting them doesn't last long as the laquer chips easily and you get the white spiderwebbing effect, not ideal if they are your everyday wheels.. Which is why my bro didnt go for it.. next best thing would be a hyper silver or similar paint.. if you didn't want them "coloured" TTE centre caps are like rockinghorse sh*t.. no longer available from manufacturer, and very sought after! GreaseMonkey on here had some centre caps made up to go with his diamond cut Lexus wheels. He got the "Supra" logo engraved on to the caps and looks very good. Drop him a pm and he'll probably be able to tell you where he got it done

Ibrar Jabbar
Does anyone know how much it would it be to them refurbed diamond cut style rather than power coated? Cheers. Guest LightSpeed
I agree they look great with the diamond cut finish, but I wanted mine on a road car for everyday use which is why i went for the harder wearing silver powder-coat. The wheels are in very good condition though, so you could remove the silver and go for the shiny finish if you wanted to...
SteveR
If you hadn't had them reburbished, I'd have been a little more interested - as they are I'd have to have them re-re-furbished to match my current set: I want a [dry] track set and everyday set you see. If you want to drop the price or do stick them on ebay, let me know.
