Samurai 20V Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 Hi guys, fetched the SUpra, she runs like a dream, except for the ECU light coming on.. There were 2 codes 42 and 47.. 42 is speed sensor, as soon as I passed 120km/hr it came on.. 47 is Sub throttle position sensor. What do you guys think are the issues about? Is it safe to drive? I will reset the ECU and see whether they come back.. I have a feeling the code 47 is an old one.. Could the code 42 be a speed cut? leelbuk Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 An incorrectly wired or faulty speed delimiter (and possibly converter) can cause a code 42.
