Whats this squeeky noise??

It could be the crank pulley has delaminated and the outer ring is slipping. To check if this is the case, use Tipex or something similar to paint a straight line from the centre of the pulley to the outer ring. Run the engine and blip the throttle so you get the squealing noise, turn engine off then inspect the pulley, if the line you painted doesn't line up then the pulley is kaput and needs replacing.

Yeah i would have thought that too, however i had the crack pully replaced only a few thousand miles ago (be it a couple of years now).

I will check anyway just in case, as until recently i have found out the "recommended" garage that i had been using to service and repair my supra was for a better word crap... i.e not doing a very good Job if at all.
