bullet_uk
just wanna thank everyone who posed their comments on my tread about my lights i sed i would let you all know how i got on and what i did. So i cleaned the sup over the weekend i mean full hard polish the lot and when i was done i thought id give the lights a go so I decided to try a bit of brasso first and they did come up ok so i left them but then as the week when on i couldn't help thinking i could do better so i took the advise of NEIL-NA and used toothpaste and bloody hell they came up a treat ok they don't look like new glass ones would look but they still look pretty amazing I'm more then happy and this way I don't have to take them apart and do the inside, bit of advise for anyone that is going to try this after rubbing the toothpaste in (really rub it) leave in a while not to long (i got on with the other light b4 going back to the first one) then i rubbed the toothpaste of with a damp cloth then i got a wet wipe and clean it all of then with a dry cloth buffed it off but i spend a lot of time buffing it and the results are gr8, thanks again to everyone that add their comments. AndyT
Get 'em clean but then laquer them with UV laquer and polish and finish. I'll be trying all this and returning results. I've been doing hectic jspecs and yellow for a couple of years. Just keeping on top of so to speak.

AndyT
well thanks all the same Keeping things sensible, it is nigh 600 quid for new units, I keep polishing to get rid of the yellow. It's worth polishing clean, couple of coats of UV to keep it good, save for new. On receiving new, get the UV lacquer on asap. There are great products out there.
