Chris Wilson
I have one on an engine, if it's really urgent I would sell it, but that would leave me an incomplete engine, you would have to tempt me with a decent cash offer.
Scooter
I may have what you need...............assuming this is for a tt (is there a difference)...............I will need to dig around for it but then I need to do this for something else for another member too so could kill x2 birds with one stone. How much is reasonable for it?
Chris Wilson
N/A ones do not have the inbuilt oil to water heat exchanger. This may be a better option in fact if running an external oil to air cooler. I have an N/A one, too.

hodge
Don't bother fitting one rob. Use an oil cooler plate straight off the block and fit the filter to that. I've seem this done on a lot of engines in the states. I think SimonB on here did it on his engine rebuild thread.

hodge
It's got nothing to do with power mate. An oil coolers an oil cooler. I've built a street car but I've removed the stock cooler and fitted a aftermarket cooler. You will need a thermostatically controllered sandwich plate though
Rob_Mitchell
you have all the filter assy on yours though matey?? you painted it black right? ill look into it. i need a workshop manual too ha ha, as the block was stripped from sensors ect too so its a jigsaw
hodge
I only fitted the assembly so I had plenty of room under the plenum for the wiring I wanted to hide. Due to the fact my plenum sits low, or I would have just binned the whole lot. I have removed the stock oil cooler and all the water lines though. Chris Wilson
I don't really want to split the engine at all and want to sell it complete, but if you get really stuck...
