Originally came from a Lexus. I removed the badge and replaced it with a chrome toyota badge. In fantastic condition. Stunning wheel IMO.

Easy enough to replace with the facelift one? If my seat rails sell anytime soo i'll take it off your hands

Yup, absolute canter mate. You will need an airbag harness adapter though. I'll dig out the part number for you, it isn't expensive.

It's the best of both worlds, i love the pre-facelift wheel but wouldn't go without an airbag.

That's the part number of the airbag adapter. Yeah mate I am of exactly the same opinion. I waited ages on another VVTi wheel coming up for grabs but they are a little scarce at the moment unfortunately :(

Will this fit on a UK car and still have the airbag work ? if yes i'll take it

I can't see why not Dunk, I'm pretty sure the UK and Jspec wheels are interchangeable (As long as you have an airbag). It will fit directly but the above harness adapter is required. Is the UK spec the big 4 spoke steering wheel? That is the one I had before this one.

Cheers

If you can live without them for a couple of days I'm happy to do it for you mate. Just cover the postage :)

It's ok Scott. I've got the de tint kit. If I don't like it, I just take it off and try again. :)

This is mucking up your sale mate. Sorry.

Ahh, it won't be a direct swap then. IIRC David on here did a cruise control retro fit and it was a bit of a pain. You would lose the cruise control with this wheel, for a direct swap anyway.

I wouldnt think it would be a ful retro fit Scott, it would just need the stalk relocating thats all. The wiring loom will be present on Mr Dunks car.

Good point Rob, I'm forgetting that David didn't have anything in place whatsoever.

I guess the stalk could quite easily be attached to the steering wheel then. How does it locate to the stock steering wheel?

It won't be a direct fit but it won't be anywhere near as difficult as I was thinking.

How do the wires fix to the stalk seeing as it goes round with the wheel ? i've never had mine off so no idea and think this is possibly the biggest issue

Can only imagine it will be in the centre of the steering wheel. My guess is that the modification would be minimal, I think the IS200 came with optional cruise control too so I would think the difference in wheels would be similar to that of the difference in UK wheel vs Jspec wheel (both 4 spokes mind).

Just 2 torx screws need removing if you want to have a look at it Dunk, you just remove the airbag to see the inner gubbins :D

Scott to save messing you around i'll buy the wheel off you. pm me your paypal details when you know the p+p cost and i'll forward you the money

When you box it up could you go over the top with bubble wrap to help it stay looking as it is, i'll happily pay whatever that costs :)

If its too much hassle or cant be nicely converted then i'll just put it back up forsale.

I remember Kev O retro fitted his cruise control to a TRD wheel so i shall be asking him :)
