SupraMan Mk4
Hi guys, Its looking increasingly likely that I will be selling my car come the summer. I can no longer put off moving out with my partner, she has already threatened to leave me a few times, but unfortunately it never comes to anything. My Q is - Is there anything worth doing to my car that will help it add/hold its value? With it only being an auto NA, engine mods are out the window. I was thinking of getting leather seats as I currently have the electric cloth in the front, and possibly replacing the plastic headlights with UK Glass. (Theres nothing wrong with them I just think it would improve the overall apperance.) But realistically would I just be throwing money away?? Input appreciated. Matt H
If you're selling your car, don't spend money on new mods - you never get back from you pay for them? It might be worth looking for cheap second hand stuff though, but for all the money you spend on stuff, you could just knock it off the asking price? j_jza80
A full service with itemised receipt, get the condition checked by an MOT station or the AA etc. Other than that, just spend time cleaning everywhere thoroughly.

SupraMan Mk4
Thanks guys, general response seems to be to maintain the car (Which is done anyway.) With anything else being more of a luxury that will not weild a return. SO looks like that is the route I will take. Thanks again.

I'd even go so far as to remove any mods you have done - where possible - before selling the car and sell them off separately.
